Guarantee for vom Koontzhund puppies

Our puppies have a overall health guarantee for one week after the date they are shipped or picked up at our facility. If you feel there is a problem you must take the puppy to your veterinarian during that time period. Our puppies are shipped with a Florida State Health Certificate. If your veterinarian believes there is a problem we require they contact our vet to discuss the issue. If there is a problem we will replace the puppy.

Our puppies are guaranteed to have good hips. We do not breed dogs that do not have OFA certified hips. Their pedigrees all contain five generations of dogs with OFA acceptably rated and/or "A" rated hips.

Hip Guarantee

**If you breed your vom Koontzhund puppy before two years of age this guarantee is void**

Our dogs are guaranteed to OFA  when they are two years old. It is your responsibility to have them x-rayed at that time. You have three months from the day they turn two to complete this process. If there is a problem with the dog's hips, a copy of the x-rays must be sent to us before we will honor the guarantee. You have two options if the dog has hip problems:

bullet    Option One - If you do not want to keep the dog
bullet        Return the dog to us at your cost (or find it a home locally) and we will replace it with a puppy at our cost.
bullet    Option Two - If you want to keep the dog
bullet        Keep the dog and receive 75% of your original purchase price towards purchasing another puppy or dog.

**Both options require that the dog be neutered and we receive it's papers back before you can receive another dog**

We do not refund money for a dog with bad hips. This is something that we cannot control, we have done our part as breeders. You also have to do your part as the dogs owner and trainer. You must exercise the dog properly, feed it properly and breed it properly to keep its hips in good shape. We recommend having the hips preliminarily x-rayed at 12 months of age if you plan on breeding the dog. If there is a suspected problem we will honor our guarantee at that time. Again, we must receive a copy of the x-rays before we replace the dog or allow another to be purchased. We will send them in to the OFA to get their opinion if that has not already been done.

Other Guarantees

Male puppies are guaranteed to have both testicles drop. If they do not drop the dog must be neutered if you wish to keep him, or return the dog to us and you will be shipped another puppy of equal or greater quality. The dog will be shipped to us at your expense and we will ship a puppy to you at our expense.

Our puppies ears are guaranteed to stand if proper procedures were followed to get them to stand.
